Leadership Development

Members have opportunities to engage in experiences that build essential skills, such as confidence, consensus and team building, event planning, conflict resolution and parliamentary procedure. 

In the Austin Chapter, each Ticktocker is either voted into a leadership role or assigned another role where she is expected to lead an activity or meeting. For example, each year we vote on President, VP Programs, VP Philanthropy, Secretary and Parlimentarian for each class. Then, other assignments are made for leading the Cultural event, Group Philanthropy, Mother/Daughter outing, etc. So, in the end, all Ticktockers have a job for each year.
